His RBI numbers will likely be the greatest of all time.

But, for lack of a better term, he chokes in the postseason.

Even worse, he has serious difficulty managing a media market such as New York. He wants to be liked, but just isn't charismatic. Everytime he opens mouth, something regretible falls out.

And the Yankees aren't paying 25$, they're paying 16. The Rangers agreed to pay about 7-8 mil per season until the contract runs out. I'm pretty sure A-Rod will opt out this year, become a free agent, and command 30 mil a season. He'll get it. I just don't think his off-field baggage is worth it, 150 RBI's or not. Give me Mike Lowell's 120 RBI, Gold Glove defense, and calm demeanor for half the price over A-Rod any day.mcsanthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12776256093839700445noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1862174023932643058.post-89487972301206894992007-10-22T13:37:00.000-06:002007-10-22T13:37:00.000-06:00Paying 25 million $ for a guy that is about to bec...Paying 25 million $ for a guy that is about to become the MVP for the 2nd time in 4 seasons is only worth 'a fair bargain'? I'm afraid to see the price of something you consider valuableHeadphones_onhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13798046626302062553noreply@blogger.com
